Heather Zoretich is the principle member of Piece of Mind, LLC (Est. 2004). Her background is in scientific research (B.S. Cellular & Molecular Biology) which led to a 9 year career in drug development research (diabetes, cardiovascular pharmacology, & pain) as well as intellectual property. The biotech and healthcare area has always been of interest to Heather, so in keeping close ties to this niche, she delved into the business side. Heather held a business development licensing position with a billion dollar reagent company while obtaining her paralegal certificate. She holds a national certification with the National Association of Legal Assistants as a Certified Paralegal (CP®) as well.

In addition to her educational and business pursuits, Heather has always been motivated to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Sports were an integral part of her schooling, which introduced her to weights and sports specific training. During her studies of the Japanese language and culture in college, she became interested in the martial arts. For 4 years Heather studied under a two-time world champion in Muay Thai kickboxing and boxing with a Kenpo studio in California. Subsequent to this, she moved on to practicing Yoga with various instructors (focus: Ashtanga/Power/Vinyasa). The positive effects of yoga led her to obtain certification with a nationally recognized organization, American Fitness Professionals & Associates (AFPA), as a Personal Trainer and as a Yoga Fitness Instructor. Drawn initially to biological and pharmaceutical study; quantum physics and epigenetic interests guided Heather with her insatiable thirst for knowledge toward a Master of Arts degree in Holistic Wellness from Clayton College of Natural Health. She feels the degree provides additional insights into the capacity of living a more balanced life.

Heather’s goal is to help others in their pursuits of easing stress-related problems. She wants to empower others to develop and achieve balance in their lives.
